Smart & Gets Things Done

I just finished reading the book Smart & Gets Things Done by Joel Spolsky. It is a very interesting read and a lot of the material is from his websites at Joel on Software and Fog Creek Software. If your looking to hire a programmer like me you should read the book. I'd love to find a company like Fog Creek that treats their programmers well and provides a nice quiet place to work. I totally agree with Joel where he talks about getting in the zone and the hours just fly. When I'm working in my home office the time just flies by and I forget to eat sometimes. Thankfully I have someone to watch out for me and send in food at regular intervals.
