Submitted by scott on Mon, 07/20/2009 - 9:33pm.We picked this up at Costco to try it out. I don't remember the cost but it wasn't very expensive, I think under $15. It was OK but didn't really stand out. From the bottle it is made up of: 78% Shiraz and 22% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Blue Ocean Strategy
Submitted by scott on Wed, 07/15/2009 - 11:41pm.I finished reading Blue Ocean Strategy by W. Chan Kim and Renée Mauborgne. My brother recommended it to me so I read it. It covers some interesting business changes that have taken place over the past 20+ years. A couple of the ones I liked were the Cirque du Soleil and the part about the Apple iPod and iTunes store. They make some compelling arguments for creating blue oceans and staying out of the red oceans of competition.

Eastern Standard Tribe
Submitted by scott on Wed, 07/15/2009 - 11:33pm.I finished reading Eastern Standard Tribe by Cory Doctorow. I love the mental health profession bashing in the book along with the defunct legal system. It's sad but I'm sure there are sane people stuck in that vicious cycle in the real world. I'm not including the other people being detained for years without any charges, that is just plain wrong.

I'm beginning to think I read too much. I still have another 3 or 4 more to list that I just finished. And I still have like 7 bottles of wine to review.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Submitted by scott on Wed, 07/15/2009 - 11:18pm.I finished reading The Curious Case of Benjamin Button by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I still haven't seen the movie that was made based on this story so I can't compare them but the story was interesting if pretty short. I didn't realize this book was in the public domain now. I thought it was a recent title since there was a movie on it, little did I know.
