2005 Malbec, Obra Prima Reserva, Familia Cassone, Argentina
Submitted by scott on Tue, 10/13/2009 - 10:55pm.This is an OK wine, not a standout. It is another in the line of Malbecs that I'm tasting. Arlene did really like it and said it tasted floral to her.

1987 Porto Kopke Colheita, Portugal
Submitted by scott on Tue, 10/13/2009 - 10:50pm.I got this in a half bottle to test out. I wasn't that impressed with it and preferred the Six Grapes over this one. It was bottled in 2007.
Sold at Spec's for $26 for a half bottle.

Six Grapes Reserve Porto, W. & J. Graham, Portugal
Submitted by scott on Sat, 08/22/2009 - 12:57pm.I was looking for some tawny port and decided to pick up this vintage style in a half bottle to try out. Note that this is a vintage style blend and does not carry a vintage year. It doesn't even report the bottling year so I assume it was bottled in 2009.
I paired this with some dark chocolate and it went together very well. I really enjoyed this one and will get some more.
Available at Spec's for $13 for a half bottle (375 ml)
