2006 Shiraz Cabernet, Penfolds, Koonunga Hill, South Australia
Submitted by scott on Mon, 07/20/2009 - 9:33pm.We picked this up at Costco to try it out. I don't remember the cost but it wasn't very expensive, I think under $15. It was OK but didn't really stand out. From the bottle it is made up of: 78% Shiraz and 22% Cabernet Sauvignon.

2006 Shiraz, Two Hands Gnarly Dudes, Barossa Valley, Australia
Submitted by scott on Sun, 01/18/2009 - 8:47pm.This is a tasty wine although I had it with fish and I didn't care for the pairing that much but the wine is not at fault. Smooth finish with a little acidic on the palate. To me there is a little black cherry taste in the finish.
Available at H.E.B. for $33

2005 Shiraz, Tintara Winery, Australia
Submitted by scott on Fri, 01/16/2009 - 3:14pm.I'm going to start putting up some of the wines I've been trying from all over the world. This is the first in a series of posts that don't really go into wine reviews, just what I've tried and if I liked it or not. I'll try to get label pictures to include as well. Also where you can get it and the price for Austin, Texas, USA. If I can get it in Austin you should be able to get it anywhere.
